About
Jack Wileman is a motion designer, brand designer, and contemporary painter based in Chichester, UK. Working across both digital and physical mediums, his practice balances structured design thinking with expressive, intuitive image-making.
He studied Interactive Media at college before completing a BA in 3D Film Animation at the University of Hertfordshire. Following his degree, Jack spent five years as a motion and brand designer at Triad, an in-house studio in Northampton, where he delivered high-end 3D product demos, motion graphics, and branding work for global clients. He later moved to London to begin his freelance career, collaborating with leading studios and contributing to high-profile projects for brands including Apple, Amazon, NHS, and Walmart. His work in motion design has received industry recognition, including awards for excellence in the field.
Alongside his design career, Jack has continuously developed his painting practice. A contemporary seascape painter, he is known for expressive oil paintings that blend realism and abstraction, capturing the energy, light, and atmosphere of the British coastline. Now living by the sea in Chichester, his work is deeply informed by place and process. The son of renowned oil painter Peter Wileman, Jack’s artistic journey began early—walking the shoreline with his father, learning to observe colour, movement, and mood. His background in animation and design continues to influence his bold compositions and vibrant palettes, resulting in a body of work where motion, structure, and emotion coexist.
